An original drawing is hand SIGNED by the artist Laurie Reid; she did 35 different drawings for the book "Symbiosis" with poems by Barbara Guest, this drawing is one of the original drawings for the book and this is #4 (signed on the back); size: 9x7-7/8in; signed and dated on the back; also with the book " SYMBIOSIS" the unsigned trade limited is 1500 copies; this limited Edition 35 copies is signed by the Barbara Guest and Lauie Reid in the colophon; the book is softcovers, approx. 32pp, size: 7-1/2 x 9in; "Laurie Reid's work has received unusual early recognition. In 1998, she was the recipient of the prestigious Society for the Encouragement of Contemporary Arts (SECA) Award from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and in 1999 was selected to appear in the 2000 Biennial Exhibition at the Whitney Museum in New York.
