Condition: Good. Second edition (hardback). 12mo (20cm by 13cm), viii, 88pp. 12 colour plates and a sketch map. Original patterned blue cloth, dustwrapper. Foxing to the endpapers and the edges of the text block; overall, the book is in good to very good condition. The dustwrapper is just about in good condition (chipped and torn with loss). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it. Inman 724.

Fully illustrated boards front and back - colors still incredibly bright and minimally marked. No jacket. Individually decorated front and rear endpapers, po single name neatly and near unnoticable inside rear. The text and extensive illutrations are bright, sharp and unmarked and in FINE condition. Two full color plates in superb condition -"Hill-Climb" "Camping". Road and racing vehicles are all circa 1927 - Daimler, Austin, Trojan, Rover, Renault, Vulcan, Rolls-Royce, Buick, Morris, Humber, Alvis; also cycling images - Brooklands track included and many other car marques pictured if not identified. A great early British motoring book for young people. Scarce in this high grade comdition. [B235].
