The Corporate history of Mountain Bell, which served the western states from July 20, 1878, when it started with the arrival of Frederick Vaille, and ends at midnight 1983, when the Bell system was dissolved. This book documents the many contributions of Mountain Bell to technology and communications systems, and also portrays the grandeur of the American West.
