Paper Covers. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. First Edition. Soft cover. Condition: Good. Brown paper wraps with black titling and design. Sewn binding. All the designs and drawings are done attractively, and with an Art Nouveau Influence, by James Guthrie. The paper wraps are chipped with a little loss to the edges, some splitting to the spine and have some (transferred) ink marks to the rear cover, but 99% complete. 1st Edition. (2) + 21-42pp. A Quarterly illustrated Journal of the Arts. December 1917 issue. Frontispiece and ten other period engravings, decorations and drawings by James Guthrie. Printed at The Morland Press, Ebury Street, London SW1. Includes the first publication of 'The Lofty Sky' by Edward Eastaway ( The Poetry Pseudonym of EDWARD THOMAS). The publication also contains poems and prose by Vivian Locke Ellis; Alan Dyce; F. M. Hallward and John Freeman. Internally Very Good with NO Inscriptions or marks - it is the cheap, chipped wartime paper used for the covers that downgrade it. Quite a scarce arts publication, produced during the First World War. See Images. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
