This Spring 1986 issue of "Antæus" quarterly (one of the leading literary periodicals), contains a number of revealing critical essays on novelist - poet- essayist Ford Maddox Ford as well as bibliographical material on the same. It is a trenchant collection, often surprising, and always fascinating - presenting , as it does, fresh approaches to an author too often overlooked. This collection of essays displays how clearly wrong those critics who dismissed Ford as baggage from the past. They failed to see the depth and insight of Ford's works.
