This edition contains ten of the nineteen stories from the first US hardcover edition which was published by Pellegrini & Cudah in 1953. The front cover has had a price in pen at the top left corner and this has been rubbed off causing some damage to the surface. Light chipping at the top and bottom of the spine. Page edges are browned. Previous owner's book plate stuck to the inside of the front cover over a small note in pen. Name and number stamped to the first page.
