gebunden. Condition: Neu. Neu -Hiermit wird ein weiterer Übersichtsband aus der Reihe über die Groninger Künstlergruppe De Ploeg vorgelegt. De Ploeg (dt. Der Pflug) ist eine 1918 in Groningen gegründete Künstlervereinigung, die bis heute besteht. Hendrik de Vries wurde im September 1929 Mitglied der Künstlergruppe. Er verfasste einige wichtige Einführungen zu Gruppenausstellungen, als Maler und Zeichner nahm er allerdings eine Sonderstellung ein. Die Künstler von De Ploeg gingen bei ihren Gemälden von der Wirklichkeit aus, De VriesĞ Ausgangspunkt hingegen war die Fantasie. Vielen ist Hendrik de Vries vor allem von seinen Gedichten her bekannt. Dennoch werden diesen Menschen seine Zeichnungen nicht fremd vorkommen, sein bildnerisches Werk schließt sich seinem literarischen Werk an. (Text engl., niederl.).
