This is a FIRST EDITION, first printing, in English from 1938, in Good condition. An EX-LIB copy with usual stamps, markings & card pocket to front & rear endpapers, this quarto has brightly decorated red-orange cloth covered boards. NO DJ (missing). Library binding is strong & straight, all pages intact & unmarked save for scattered soil & foxed spots. Moderate rubbing to extremities & heaviest along bottom edges & all corners rubbed down to underlying boards with slight loss. Old tape residue to lower spine.
