The plates for this printing were made from two copies of the original 1517 Strasbourg edition, one belonging to the Universitatsbibliothek Heidelberg, the other in private hands. . . . The Medicine Rara edition was produced under the supervision of the Agathon Presse, Baiersbronn, West Germany. This is copy number 945." Light even sunning to spine, otherwise a fine copy. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; boards, text all very good+. Slipcase has a light touch of shelfwear and very faint sunning. A very nice copy. Due to the size/weight of this book it is not available for expedited delivery; international shipping may cost extra.
