Scarce Cuban guide to betting on horse races (a popular pastime in the firs…t half of the twentieth century, before Castro came to power), including an explanation of racing terms and conventions and advice on how to analyze data (times, rider weights, course length, etc.) to pick winners and how and where to place bets. A table at the end lists records achieved at Oriental Park, a racetrack founded in Havana in 1915 and operated by the Havana-American Jockey Club of Cuba. Bibliografica Cubana #330.
