Previous owners name and a few notes on end pages, still a nice copy of a scarce checker book.

The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with some loss of color on the cloth; front endpages re-attached with white tape. . This is one of the most significant International Tournaments in the history of the game. The games are from some of the best players of the day. A must have for every lover of games and deep analysis. August Heffner does create his magnum opus here.
