A little rubbing and shelf bumps to the spine ends, a little rubbing to the corner tips. A few minor spots to the binding. Front endpapers have residue from an old price sticker, two bookstore stamps and an old gift inscription from 1903 and you can see where they erased a previous gift inscription. The tissue guard and the frontispiece (photograph of the author) have some foxing or brown discoloration. Some age toning to the pages. 172 pages. Small hardcover. Binding is tight, spine is bright.
