Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. NO COPYRIGHT DATE WAS FOUND PUBLISHER: FEDERAL BOOK CO. 245 PAGES PLUS SEVERAL PAGES OF ADVERTISEMENTS. THIS BOOK IS APPROX 5.25" BY 7.25" THIS BOOK IS IN GOOD READABLE CONDITION. THE HARDCOVER HAS SOME STAINING AND WEAR TO EDGES AND CORNERS. THE BINDING IS SECURE. INSIDE THE FRONT AND BACK COVERS HAS DARKENED WITH AGE. INSIDE THE BACK COVER IS THE ONLY WRITING I SEE IN THIS BOOK. THE FRONT FREE ENDPAPER HAS A TORN CORNER. I DO NOT SEE ANY OTHER TEARS IN THIS BOOK. THE BLANK PAGES AT THE BACK OF THE BOOK ARE STUCK TOGETHER TOWARD THE SEAM. THERE ARE TWO PLACES IN THE BOOK WHERE DARK PAPER WAS LEFT BETWEEN THE PAGES AND IT DARKENED THE BOOK PAGES IT TOUCHED. THESE PAGES ARE STILL IN GOOD READABLE CONDITION - JUST DARKER THAN THE OTHER PAGES IN THE BOOK. I REMOVED THE DARK PAPER SO NO FURTHER DARKENING WOULD OCCUR. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES FOR MORE DETAILS.

They boy is dressed in a blue sailor sujit with cap. The spine has the title and publisher's name in blue lettering and the drawing of a boy in blue with a baseball bat. page edges are moderately soiled with the top edge worst. Pages are clean and tight, light shelf wear. Fiction for pre-teen boys, back hinge is cracked by intact.
