Grüneberg (Besitzer Chemische Fabrik Köln-Kalk) gegenüber der Titelseite (siehe Bild 2) datiert 26. Januar 1890, Einband beschabt und geringfügig bestoßen, wenige Seiten geringfügig fleckig, sehr schönes Exemplar dieses außerordentlich seltenen Reiseberichtes der wohl nur in einer geringen Auflage (siehe eingebundenen Hinweis Bild 4) erschienen ist Auszug aus WIKIPEDIA:"Henry Theodore Böttinger (ab 1907 von Böttinger) (* 10. Juli 1848 in Burton-upon-Trent, England; 9. Juni 1920 in Charlottenburg) war ein deutscher Industrieller der Chemieindustrie, Verbandsvertreter und nationalliberaler Politiker. Böttinger studierte von 1866 bis 1870 Naturwissenschaften in Freiburg und Würzburg, er wurde zum Dr. phil. promoviert. Böttinger trat 1882 in die Leitung der Bayer AG in Elberfeld ein. Er heiratete eines der fünf Kinder von Friedrich Bayer und Caroline Juliane Hülsenbusch, deren Tochter Adele Bayer. Zusammen mit dem Sohn des Gründers Friedrich Bayer junior, Friedrich Weskott und Carl Duisberg war Böttinger maßgeblich mitverantwortlich, das Unternehmen zu einem Weltkonzern zu machen. Seit 1907 war er Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates. Auch im Aufsichtsrat der Bergisch-Märkischen Bank war er vertreten. Darüber hinaus war Böttinger Besitzer eines beträchtlichen Industrie- und Kapitalvermögens. Unter anderem gehörten ihm das Rittergut/Schloss Arensdorf in der Gemeinde Arensdorf, jetzt Jarnatów (Polen), früher im Landkreis Oststernberg der Neumark, nahe der früheren Stadt Königswalde (heute Lubniewice (Polen)), das er kaufte und aufwändig umbaute. Das neubarocke Schloss besteht heute noch.Böttinger war in zahlreichen Gremien im Interesse der Wirtschaft tätig. So war er Mitglied in der Handelskammer Elberfeld und des Führungsgremiums des Deutschen Handelstages. Auch im leitenden Ausschuss des Centralverbandes deutscher Industrieller war er vertreten. Führende Positionen nahm er auch im Verein der chemischen Industrie und der Berufsgenossenschaft der chemischen Industrie ein. Als Besitzer des Würzburger Hofbräuhauses gehörte er auch dem Deutschen Brauer-Bund an. Politisch gehörte Böttinger der nationalliberalen Partei an. Von 1889 bis 1909 war er Mitglied im preußischen Abgeordnetenhaus als gewählter Vertreter seines Wahlkreises Mettmann. Er wurde zum Ehrenbürger von Kronenberg, Mettmann, Velbert und Wülfrath ernannt. Außerdem bekam er 1897 die Ehrendoktorwürde der Universität Göttingen. Unter anderem ist in Göttingen, Wuppertal, Velbert und Leverkusen eine Straße nach ihm benannt. ".…
