Also on the front cover there is an approximate 1/2" tear in the middle of the outer part of the page. Wear at head and tail of spine. 160 page work has a glossary, an index of common plant names and an…index of scientific names. Many black & white photographs. The book has some creasing on the back cover and some light smudges that look like finger prints on the back page. No apparent underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no remainder marks. Looks like the two staples that hold the book together are somewhat rusted. A serviceable, first edition, copy.
