Barry was born in Honeoye Falls in 1854. David worked, as a young man, for the itinerant photographer O.S. Goff. The die was cast. LEARN more about : Crow King, 7'th Infantry, Fort Abraham Lincoln, Reno Hill, loop-holed blockhouses, escaping hostiles, Red Cloud, Rain-in-the-Face, Slow White Buffalo, and Hairy Chin. 175 pages with scads of examples of Barry's images. Bismarck in the Dakota territory was his base. Barry died in 1934. Cond : Boards are buff with gilt lettering - face and spine. White end-papers. D,J. is brown and black with white lettering.
