Minor wear to extremities with nothing rubbed through, a bit of fading at upper right corner of front cover, a couple of minor spots on the rear cover, gift inscription on front free endpaper, two pages have light smudges, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. A romance set in Southern California just after World War I in which the protagonist captures men stealing cattle from Black Rock Ranch. [This is not the Black Rock Ranch of Texas fame.] Clyde W. Hightower is also the author of SHADOWS OF THE VALLEY (1926).
