The book also incorporates Jan Brozek's first-hand observations and reports from his 1618 journey across Copernicus' Warmia. The study critically evaluates several persistent mysteries and misconceptions found in Copernican literature. It addresses important questions such as the true identity of "Jacob Cobilinius", the authorship and influence of early biographies, and the timing of Copernicus' appointment as a canon of Warmia.
