Engravings galore. All pages have a pictorially framed layout. Brown cloth. Page edges stained red on practically every page. Paper is bright and clean. Pieces of cloth along perimeter of front board gone. Original spine back strip has been replaced with a strip of beige leather. Text in wonderful shape. Section of the 1892 Columbian exposition at back. Pages 17/18 have been replaced with printed scans from another copy. Flyleaf missing. A REAL TREASURE. Tightly bound.

The front cover is a bit loose and starting to fall off with very few pages that are loose but all other pages are secure.
