Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Very good, some rubbing to pictorial boards, but overall an exceptional copy, very lightly used, particularly for a book over 100 years old. NOT the first printing, but certainly early as it still offers the hardback version of Erdnase in a list at the rear. Bulks thinner than the first ed due to thinner paper used. Smaller 16mo format. Same blue cloth with decorative covers BUT, drops the gilt on titles; only lettered in black with red and black illustrated cover. Same 440 pages as a first ed. This book borrows liberally from the work of Professor Hoffmann but also adds material not in Hoffmann's books.
