Foredges lightly browned, endpapers (Eric Ravilious scallop design) lightly browned otherwise very good in original yellowy orange cloth with gilt titles to spine and blind stamped decal designed by Ravilious to upper boards. light foxing of cloth along hinges all vols otherwise light shelfwear, very good in original unclipped dustwrappers. Vols I & II with lighthouse logo to mid spine (version 2), Vols. II & IV in subsequent style (version 3). small losses to tops and tails of spines, browning to lower portions of spines of vol II and III, faint foxing to vol. I. otherwise very good minus and now in removable cello sleeves. 3 volumes have the original 2 publishers advertorial bookmarks (for the encyclopaedia and for other titles) Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
