Clem Brown won his heart by kindness, but even Clem didn't try to put a saddle on him until he was five years old. The called him Cinchfoot because his favorite rick was trying to get his hind foot against the saddle to scrape it off. One spring night Cinchfoot and Blaze Face got loose, and ran free -- but not for long, They were caught and put to rodeo work. Cinchfoot, now a strikingly beautiful stallion with unusual coloring -- black with a silver mane and tail -- was the pride of the show.
