Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 2 Volume Set. Trim size = 9.5 x 6.25 inches. 8vo, light green cloth, gold-stamped text. No dustjackets. Plain endpapers. Vol One has a 1.25 inch pen mark on the back cover. Vol Two has two minor marks to the front cover and a small, light stain. Both volumes have very minor rubbing of the cloth on the bottom corners of the front and back boards. Some discoloration and scratches to the outside corner of the bottom edge of the textblocks. Internal text is clean and unmarked. Two volume set is a translated, updated, and considerably augmented edition of C. F. Jean & J. Hoftijzer's, "Dictionnaire des inscriptions sémitiques de l'ouest." Pagination continues across both volumes. Vol One = lxxi, 585pp. Vol Two = 586-1266pp. Both volumes have 3 unpaginated pages of catalog at the back. Unless otherwise noted, any variations in color to images are due to photography shadows, not discoloration of item. [Religion].
