Special copy of this beautifully printed book documenting the important books and publishers in Texas fine printing history up to the 70's. Dudley R. Dobie's copy with envelope from the publisher addressed to him containing the announcement for the book as well as a couple of self addressed order envelopes. Also laid in are a couple handwritten notes slips with the publisher's address. The book itself is in fine condition in near fine glassine jacket with a few superficial scuffs. It has been signed by Lowman, and additionally signed at the rear colophon by William Holman, the publisher, and his son David Holman, the printer. Bill Holman additionally notes above his signature how much he appreciate's (his wife's) Barbara Holman's illustrations for "enhancing Al Lowman's text.".
