Poor condition. 264, [22] pages. Hardcover: H 25.25cm x L 20.25cm. Blue cloth rubbed and soiled with several small stains; some flaking/rubbing loss to front board's orange stamping but still easily legible as is spine's orange lettering; fraying and short tears at spine ends; board corners worn. Text block edges toned. Some soiling and foxing to leaves; lengthy ink inscription on most of front free endpaper (no other student signatures/inscriptions etc.); closed tear at top of pages 55-56; missing pages 75-76; missing top third of pages 77-78; lacking most of unpaged leaf preceding page 191; pages 201-202 detached and now laid-in; second to last rear advertising leaf only tenuously attached; missing rear free endpaper and perhaps a flyleaf and/or ad leaf or two. Binding shaken between page 2 and opposing unpaged portrait leaf; rear hinge also shaken; lesser stress points to text block but otherwise holding. B/w photo of UVA's Rotunda building in the concluding ad section specifically credited to Charlottesville photographer Rufus W. Holsinger but it's likely he took many of the yearbook's group and portrait photos as well. Sold as is with all faults but early 20th century yearbooks for UVA are quite uncommon. Please note that this book has an approximate shipping weight of 3.75 pounds (1.7 kg) and may require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.

1-250, i-xxviii pages. Hardcover: H 24cm x L 19.75cm. Dark blue cloth mottled; front board's stamping remains bright; light scuffing/bumping at spine ends and board corners. Text block edges toned/soiled. Obtrusive foxing to front and rear endpapers which have small chips at edges/margins; student's "1898-9" ink ownership inscription on front free endpaper; slight foxing and some soiling to interior leaves. Binding shaken between frontispiece and opposing title; text block otherwise remains reasonably firm. B/w illustrations and photographs throughout; Roman paged advertising section at rear which includes a page xxiii ad for Charlottesville photographer R.W. Holsinger [Rufus W. Holsinger] who likely took many if not all of the yearbook's group and portrait photos (much to Holsinger's credit is that the student images all capture a sense of grand relief that the pictured individuals are not Hokies).
