The corners of the maroon cover and the crown and base of the backstrip show shelf wear, and the front cover bears one bright and three dim spots, and some spotting on the back cover. There is a previous owner's signature and address on the fly leaf. The closed edges of the pages block seem to have some handling soil, a small amount. The pages are clear, bright, and unmarked. Gilt lettering on the backstrip is almost bright as new. Sewn binding; square and solid. No loose pages. An exciting find. 453 pages. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box.
