Cloth. Condition: Very Good. A solid copy of the 1935 true 1st edition, in the publisher's matching (custom) slipcase. Tight and VG in its navy-blue cloth, with bright gilt-titling along the front panel and spine. Handsome former owner bookplate (Dr. S.P. Pechin) at the front free endpaper. Quarto, original "errata slip" pasted on to the rear endsheet, which is loose. The slipcase, with its similar navy-blue cloth, has also been skillfully rebacked along the spine (probably by the author/publisher himself) in an elegant lighter-blue morocco, with 5 raised bands and crisp gilt-titling. A pleasing copy of the 1935 original printing.
