Il est l'auteur d'un dictionnaire historique et politique de l'Alsace, Strasbourg, 1747, in-4, dont malheureusement le premier volume seul a paru, sans nom d'auteur. L'ouvrage devait contenir douze volumes ; les onze volumes à parapitre étaient entièrement achevés et se sont perdus dans la tourmente révolutionnaire.
