Hardcover. Condition: Good. 3-1/8" x 4-7/8", 320pp incl. front matter. Printed on India paper and bound in sewn signatures in embossed patterned paper-covered boards. Book is noticeably worn, the spine remains in remnants only, both boards are heavily worn, soiled and chipped. The front board is hanging onto the book block literally by a handful of threads. Binding itself remains sound and square except for the tipped-in frontispiece, a steel cut engraving of Jesus Christ, which is lying loose in the book. Edges of book block are discolored / darkened all around, and an old moisture stain effects the bottom of the first handful of pages. Pages are otherwise clean and bright and unmarked.
