Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. Gagne, Alain (illustrator). Limited Edition #328 of 1000 Copies. Original dark green laminated pictorial boards with cream, orange, and green titles. B/W and colour photos, black and white maps, and colour illustrations of the author, his wife and several aircraft. The author hailed from Massey, Ontario, and joined the RCAF in the fall of 1940 as a fighter pilot. Between September of 1941 and April of 1944, he flew on 338 operational sorties before being wounded and sent home as a hero. He was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses, and retired from the RCAF as a Group Captain in 1965. 192 pp. including Appendices and Index. Size: 8 1/2x11. Book.
