[16p] 5.5x8.25 inches, quotes from Horace, Giordano and Don Juan, signed at his poem by Mick Imlah, fine first printing chapbook limited to 240 copies, hand-set, printed and sewn by members of the John Florio Society of Magdalen College, bound in sewn gray printed wraps. Mick Imlah aka Michael Ogilvie Imlah was a Scottish poet educated at Magdalen College, Oxford alongside his friend Alan Hollinghurst. He was a prominent editor (Oxford Poetry, Poetry Review, Times Literary Supplement) who published only two anthologies of his own. He died in 2009. This chapbook contains poems read at the John Florio society of Magdalen College, Oxford. Florio was a contemporary of Shakespeare and was a tutor of Henry Wriothesley.
