Interior pages bound by a red 4 1/2 inch plastic spiral comb with ten teeth that are attached to the red illustrated endpapers. The top and bottom of the first page has pulled loose but this page is firmly held in place by the other 8 teeth. The top and bottom spine area area has minor wear and there is some very minor chipping to the lower front edge of the back board, as well as some light corner wear. Interior is clean tight and bright. Created and produced by the Duenewald Printing Corp of New York who is the sole agent for Wehr Animations patents. Color illustrations on almost every page. There are five full page animations activated by pull tabs. Tabs are clean and working. Scans available on request. Jack and the Beanstalk is an English fairy tale and somwhat loosely based on the tale of Jack the Giant Killer. It has several versions. The story became very popular around 1890 and has been variously published ever since. This book is fully illustrated but somewhat abridged.
