Some…shelfwear, with rubbing to the extremities, top corner of front cover near the spine lightly Stained, good hinges, sound text block, note about where the book was previously purchased neatly written at the top of the front pastedown, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is corner-clipped and has some light edgewear as well as a one inch chip to the foot of the spine, small chips to the corners, short closed tear along the top front spine edge, fairly little paper loss overall ,was commanded by his father to go the mountains and plant rice and "not come back until he had grown there seven times as many grains of rice as he had planted". The story follows Li Lun through his trials and eventual triumph. Signed by Author(s).
