Corners rubbed and front cover faintly flecked with stains. Inscription on a blank front endpaper. Tiny chip off the bottom corner of the title page. A previous owner filled out the "name" and "address" page. The second-to-last leaf of text has been torn out, and there are blue scribbled and spotty stains on the surrounding pages. Binding is otherwise secure. A scarce book of lighthearted poems written in the voice of "Teddy," a bull terrier. Illustrated by Katharine Maynadier Browne. Measures approx. 7" x 5".

Small thin book of brown paper covered boards with a brown cloth-covered spine showing rubbed tips and some color loss from storage. No names, tears or soil on the 62 glossy pages. Copyright page states 1909 by L. E. Bassett - Boston, MA so unsure what printing this volume published by Luce might be, but it is clearly early. Very uncommon offering for any animal lover.
