Gift quality 1921 first edition hardcover in three quarter bound red cloth over grey/cream paper with blindstamped fox mask on center of frt cover. Complete and clear paper spine label. Spine ends lightly bumped, tips remain sharp. No names or writing of any sort, no tears or soil seen in the tight, crisp 204pp text that is illustrated with b/w photographs. Original, Un-clipped, exceedingly rare dust wrapper in the same grayish paper the boards are covered in shows 1/4" chips at upper tips and head of spine. Black silhouette like illustration on frt jacket panel of a chap in top hat galloping his horse along with black titles. Light age-toning at periphery of jacket, spine somewhat darker than panels, wrapper now in new mylar and displays very well. Being an account of the sport, shown by the Radnor Hounds and other packs in Pennsylvania since 1912, with many personal sketches and items of interest regarding varied sporting occasions. Foreword by Benjamin Chew (M.F.H. Radnor 1915-1917).
