Winter, M.D. Hardback, August 1950, first edition, fifth printing, published by Hermitage House, New York, xxviii + 452 pages. Contains contemporary self-mailing card for additional information on Dianetics.Measures around 6" by 8 1/2" by 1 5/8". No dust jacket. Light grey cloth binding. A little marking and scuffing to binding but reasonably clean. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Bumped corners. Slackness to binding, cracking to inner hinges, with netting exposed at front inner hinge and some tearing to gutter end of front free endpaper as it has become strained from front pastedown and textblock. Page edges browned, scuffed, marked and a bit foxed. Some marking to endpapers, previous owner signature on front free endpaper.
