"This solo album by Christine McVie was recorded in 1969, shortly after her departure from one of Britain's other great blues aggregations, Chicken Shack. This was prior to her marriage to John Mcvie and was recorded and released in England and Europe under her maiden name, Christine Perfect. . . . Musicians working with Christine on this project included John McVie and Danny Kirwan, both then with Fleetwood Mac, Top Topham, the Yardbirds' original guitarist, Rick Hayward, who later joined Savoy Brown as well as the entire line-up of Chicken Shack."
