E. Carpenter. Full brown calf with heavily gilt spine, marbled end papers and red pages edges. The inscription on the fly leaf by the editor reads: "Mrs Townsend from J. H. in grateful remembrance of much kindness & friendship". CONDITION. VG. The pages are clean and tight. Foxing of the end papers and fly leaves. The corners are rubbed, the hinges are worn but tight, small pieces missing fron the ends of the spine, the title label is missing with the title showing impressed in the second panel.
