Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Acceptable. 1965 reprint. 2 volume set in price-intact dust jackets. Slight marginalia in light pencil on about 10 pages or so, text itself appears to be unmarked, certainly no obvious markings over text. Previous owner's name in pen and penciled markings in both volumes on ffep…. Binding is still holding up well, no splits to binding, but has loosened over time as volumes have certainly been studied. Light foxing along top edge. Dust jackets in mylar, in acceptable condition, including: fading; small chips and tears along edges; spine of dust jacket of volume 1 is split on both sides; volume 2 partially split, same to far edges next to fore-edge of pages; closed tears and small stains on dj spine. Mylar has partially corrected these exterior imperfections. Price intact (v. 1 - $6.00; v. 2 - $6.50). 1965 (third) reprint of the 1902 edition. (Cannot described the boards due to mylar.) Laid in is a beautiful (but not well known?) quote of the great man. Hardcover. Pictures available on request. (Displayed - Special Collections - 1h).
