Minor browning to covers and slight staining to rear cover, very minor spotting to front free end paper, Very Good. An interesting and wonderfully illustrated book detailing the history and culture of parts of China, with chapters detailing various cities or interesting portions of recent Chinese history, every chapter ends with a beautiful engraving by Degouy, and starts with a highly stylised letter, a large illustrated map is found opposite the title page.
