It is a signed/numbered edition by this author, of 350 books. The only flaws I find are a minimal amount of soiling on the edge of the text block (a few pinheads in size) which I believe is ink from the top edge from production and a bit of a rough cut to the bottom edge of text block, again from the factory. Superb and tight first edition of this (to cite jacket front) "beguiling memoir by the novelist, playwright, essayist, film writer whose career began with I Can Get It for You Wholesale" -- but let's not forget the 1960 Pulitzer Prize for the musical "Fiorello!" This copy bears odd and interesting autograph addition: Tipped to front flyleaf is a fine 5½" X 8" photocopy of page 429 from Weidman's 1974 novel "Tiffany Street" that Weidman boldly signs in black fineline near the bottom and dates 11 June 1977, as well as changing a word in the text near the bottom (crossing out "at" and inking in "before") -- why he would alter a word in a published text is unclear!
