[20] pp. including inside covers. This is a nature-based, reusable coloring book with nine half-paged glazed card leaves with a black and white drawing of a woodland creature on each recto, and an informative paragraph about that animal on the opposing verso. The creatures covered are: a bear, a deer, a fox, a chipmunk, a rabbit, a raccoon, a beaver, a woodpecker, a skunk and an owl; there are four pages, front and back covers both inside and out, that are illustrated with full color drawings by Wehr; an additional thick board page is bound into the book containing color pictorial stand-up models of five of the animals covered in the book that are designed to be punched out and played with while reading about and coloring all the woodland friends; this page is complete and un-punched as issued. The condition of the book is NEAR FINE. Only one copy located on OCLC/WorldCat (Bowdoin College). EXCEEDINGLY RARE, especially complete and in such nice condition.
