Afortunadamente, es…ta visión va abandonándose en beneficio de una mayor ponderación de los condicionantes externos del proceso de cambio político. . . Los diferentes contextos y actores externos actuaron, en unos casos, como estímulo del cambio; en otros, como elementos de prevención ante posibles desbordamientos del proceso. En cualquier caso, el conjunto de actores políticos y sociales internos que protagonizaron el paso del autoritarismo a la democracia, tuvieron como referencia ese contexto internacional que si en Europa avanzaba hacia la integración, en el marco del sistema internacional la guerra fría todavía imponía una rígida división de polarización entre el mundo occidental y el liderado por la hoy extinta Unión Soviética. . . Las ruinas son uno de los temas más asentados en la poesía española del Siglo de Oro, en la que dan fe de una sensibilidad nueva que llenó de poe tas los vestigios de Itálica, Sagusto o Mérida, y que produjo meditaciones sobre estas ruinas, las de Roma y las de Cartago, pero también sobr…e res tos mucho más peregrinos, como los del coloso de Rodas o los quiméricos vestigios de la Atlántida. La poesía de ruinas produjo obras maestras como el soneto xxxiii de Garcilaso («Bos cán, las armas y el furor de Marte»), la canción de Rodrigo Caro a las ruinas de Itálica («Estos, Fabio, ¡ay dolor!, que ves ahora / campos de soledad, mustio collado»), un célebre soneto de Quevedo («Miré los muros de la patria mía») o el ciclo de poemas lopescos a Troya. La poesía de ruinas en el Siglo de Oro analiza esta moda relacionán dola con el espíritu del momento, que se revela al tratar las ruinas de modo muy diferente al clásico o medieval, pues el énfasis en la mirada del sujeto lírico y en su interioridad resulta muy propio del mundo moderno. En la poesía áurea el poeta recrea e imagina las ruinas (a veces enterradas a sus pies o bajo las aguas del Atlántico), pero también construyen, junto a ellas, su propia subjetividad. Paradójicamente, estos poemas de descripción de ves tigios nos pintan un paisaje interior, totalmente teñido por las emociones de un sujeto que reflexiona sobre el tiempo como edax hominum, más que rerum. Los capítulos de este libro des criben las características de la poesía de ruinas y examinan su evolución y estela desde el poema fundacional de Garcilaso, pero también reflexionan sobre la relación entre poesía y arte, entre los poemas de ruinas y las vis tas de vestigios clásicos que pueblan la pintura del momento. *** Nota: Los envíos a España peninsular, Baleares y Canarias se realizan a través de mensajería urgente.
