Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Gary Panter (illustrator). First Thus. 12mo. Pp. 209. Appended with John Carlin's "Crossing the Line; the Profound and the Profane in Gary Panter's Cola Madnes." Illustrated throughout with comics and other graphics by Gary Panter. Bound in color-illustrated paper-covered boards. Orange cloth bookmark bound in. Clean throughout. Carlin refers to Cola Madnes as Panter's "lost work." Drawn in 1983 during the growing renown of Panter's "Jimbo" comic, then being published in Slash and reprinted in Raw magazine. Incidentally, this work is often referred to as "Cola Madness," with the double-s, and even Carlin uses that spelling in, perhaps, a moment of copy-editing laxity.
