This new edition contains material not in the first edition and was also printed at the Merrymount Press (Smith & Bianchi 427). Reminiscences and stories about a character working at Williams College in the late 19th century.

Quarter Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Limited. This book contains two biographical works on Joseph Conrad followed by some bibliographical notes. White cloth spine with tile label, hand marbled paper over boards. Upper edge is gilt with faint marbling as well. There is some corner bumping, light edge wear. Slipcase is a light green paper over boards, missing back section that covers the fore-edge of the book. Hinges and gutters are solid, no shadowing or foxing of the endpapers. No ownership or other markings. Frontis-portrait retains protective tissue. Limited to a printing of 485 copies, un-numbered. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Limited.

Without a dust jacket; however, the book is contained within a good paper covered slip case which has suffered splits at most of its joints and has been repaired using clear acetate. One of only 485 copies printed with only 450 made available for sale. (72) pages of text and illustrated with a line art portrait of Conrad as a frontispiece. A very handsome, clean and tight copy with no prior ownership markings of any kind.
