The colors are rich and vibrant and appear as fresh as when the poster was printed in 19…38. Inscribed and signed: "To Barry (Halper), They used my picture but they forgot to pay me. Johnny Mize", set into a simple red mat and placed into a black wood frame to 19 1/2" x 25". Fine. MIZE, Johnny (1913 - 1993). Hall of Fame baseball player who finished his playing career as a member of the New York Yankees during their record five-straight World Series Championships (1949 - 1953).
