Bel exemplaire bien complet des 36 cartes, à savoir les 31 cartes de bataille numérotées de 1 à 29 (il y a deux cartes bis : 16 bis et 18 bis) et les 5 grandes cartes dépliantes. Plusieurs cartes portent un "papillon" mobile (par exemple les numéros 16 et 18) figurant les divers positionnements de troupes ; la carte 4 est en partie dépliante. Par un subtil jeu de couleurs visible sur la plupart des cartes "on a cherché à distinguer les mouvements et les positions des diverses parties".
