A catalogue raisonné of 820 works of the Dutch-born artist Johan Barthold Jongkind (1819-1891). He moved to Paris in 1846, where his 'small, informal landscapes continued the tradition of the Dutch landscapists while stimulating the development of Impressionism' through his acquaintance with Claude Monet.
