Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Lenin: his life and works. Translation of the German edition: Lenin, Leben und Werk. Published after Lenin`s death. Has a dedication to him. It consists if text originally written by Krupskaya, Milyutin, Bukharin, Stalin, Trotsky, Tchitcherin & many others. The translator Junzo Inamura was a leader of Japanese Socialist party. To avoid the book from total banning, translation includes some censorship cuts of the ideological key terminology like "revolution", "party" etc, presumably auto-censorship, example: "Proletarianxx". 13 b&w photographs. Original paper wrapper. No dust jacket. Corner of the spine slightly chipped and stained. On the corner of the back wrapper is slight creasing. Fore-edge has some dirt. Occasional browning. Otherwise very clean copy. Near fine to fine. 18,9 x 12,9 cm. 100 p. Text in Japanese.
