Hardcover. Condition: g. Lg. 4to. xii,240pp. Mottled yellow cloth with black lettering on cover and spine in original printed dust jacket. Binding and dj protected by modern mylar. Profusely illustrated with reproductions in photogravure of architecture, landscapes, and life and customs in North Africa. Photographs by Lehnert & Landrock, Max Nentwich, Photo-Flandrin. Captions in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. Introduction in German by Ernst Kühnel. Minor fading to lettering on spine. Parts of dj edges have been repaired with tape. Some creasing, chipping and staining on dj. Paper split along gutter on free front endpaper, firmly holding. Free front- and rear endpapers slightly creased. Small library stamp on bottom margin of title-page. Dj in fair to good, interior in very good condition. Part of the series "Orbis Terrarum".
